22 persons perish in Ghana road accident

Accra, Ghana – Twenty- two passengers died when the vehicles in which they were travelling was involved in an accident near Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana Saturday. Police said Sunday that 19 of the 22 passengers died on the spot while the remai ning three died in hospital.

The accident followed a head-on collision involving their truck and a bus carrying passengers from Nkoranza to Sunyani.
