Patience Dabany - C'est pour la vie
Born in Brazzaville, Patience Dabony is considered one of the most prolific music ambassadors of Gabon. She is a singer and drummer well known in Gabon and throughout Africa. She was previously married to Omar Bongo the President of Gabon. Her first album Levekisha was a huge success. Consecutive albums include: Cheri Ton Disque Est Royé, Associé, self titled Patience Dabony, Nouvelle Attitude, Article 106. Her 2004 world music album Obomiyia toured with James Brown in Europe.
