Bikey completes move to Burnley/sports in africa
Burnley have signed Cameroon defender Andre Bikey on a three-year deal from Championship club Reading.
The 24-year-old moves to the Premier League outfit for an undisclosed fee and may make his debut in Wednesday's home match against Manchester United.
He will be available as the four-match ban imposed after his sending-off in the play-offs will be served when Reading play Swansea on Tuesday.
Bikey played for Cameroon in the Beijing Olympics last year.
The centre-half, who can also play in midfield, will give depth to a defensive unit which has been depleted by injuries to captain Steven Caldwell and Michael Duff.
Bikey, who started his career with Spanish side Espanyol, moved to Shinnik Yaroslavl in Russia before signing for Lokomotiv Moscow in 2005.
He joined Reading on loan in 2006 before completing a permanent transfer a year later for £1m, making over 70 appearances for the Berkshire side.
